There will be a remote per pack but all 8 lights can be controlled using only one of the remotes. You can control all the lamps at once, or set up 'zones' to control groups of bulbs to be different modes but all from the same remote.

These are mains powered and does not come with a cord, own wiring should already be available to be fitted onto the terminal block within the light.
